Football Predictions for October 6-8

SC State at Norfolk State – Believe it or not, at 1-3, the Norfolk State Spartans are the hottest team in the MEAC right now. They are the team everyone thinks will be a spoiler to someone’s dreams.  Will the Bulldogs survive the Green and Gold?  The Bulldogs normally start off strong, but can they finish strong? Last week, the answer was no.

SC State by a prayer 

A BCC fan was enjoying himself at the game in a packed Municipal Stadium, until he noticed an empty seat down in front. He went down and asked the young lady next to it if she knew whose seat it was.  

The woman said, "Yes, that's my husband’s seat. We have never missed a game since the pre-Shine days, but now my husband is dead."  

The fan offered his sympathy and said it was really too bad that she couldn't find some relative to give the ticket to and enjoy the game together.  

"Oh no." the ALPHA72 said. "They're all at the funeral."

BCC at DSU – There was a phone call between FAMU and BCC this week.

FAMU: I wuv you, BCC.

BCC: I wuv you more, FAM sweetie.

FAMU: Who are you playing this week, luv?

BCC: Delaware State

FAMU: grrrrr

BCC: I know, I know, sweetie.  I remember what those big ole nasty Hornets did to my sugar-wugar-big-daddy-snakey-wakey on your first home game of the season.

FAMU: Yeah, they kicked the crap out of us.

BCC: There, there. Big Momma Mary will make you feel better.  Nobody does that to my FAMmy-Whammy and gets away with it.

FAMU: Okay. You know what you gotta do.  I wuv you, BCC.

BCC: I wuv you more, FAM sweetie.  Hang up now.

FAMU: You hang up first.

BCC: Let’s both hang up on the count of 3.  1, 2, 3.

(giggles on both sides)

Moral of the story: the love affair between FAMU and BCC is disgusting.  DSU, you shouldn’t have oughta messed with FAMU.  They will get their revenge by having BCC beat you up.

Hampton at Gardner-Webb – I smell a Pirate victory.  You ever smell a Pirate before?  Gardner-Webb has – last year and again this year.  It’s not a good smell if you don’t have Pirate love.  Kinda like the lady who didn’t bathe regularly for years.  It’s a smell you gotta get used to. The Pirates are used to the smell (like on the waterfront on a hot day).  It’s the sweet smell of victory.

A guy walks into a bar with a dog under his arm.  The dog is wearing an Aggie jersey and helmet and is holding Aggie pom poms.

The bartender says, “Hey, no pets allowed in here!  You’ll have to leave!” 

The man begs, “Look I’m desperate.  We’re both big fans, my TV is broken, and this is the only place we can see the game!” 

After securing a promise that the dog will behave and warning him that if there is any trouble they will be thrown out, the bartender relents and allows them to stay in the bar and watch the game. 

The game begins with the Aggies receiving the kickoff. They march down the field, stop at the 30, and kick a field goal.  With that the dog jumps up onto the bar and begins walking up and down the bar giving everyone a high-five. 

The bartender says, “Wow, that is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen!  What does the dog do if they score a touchdown?” 

“I don’t know,” replies DOOMSDAY, “I’ve only had him for 2 years.”

NCAT vs Morgan – A&T is not showing me anything this year. Neither is Morgan. They are scrambling for a win in Aggieland – fired the OC and everything.  No OC, no win

SWAC

Miss Valley St at Grambling St – Last week, I thought I picked a sure win with Alabama A&M over Texas Southern.  This week, I thought I’d go with any team that plays against PVAM, thinking there is no way PVAM will win a game, but they are playing Alcorn, who lost to ArkPB.  The SWAC is in sorry shape this year.  Don’t be surprised if last year’s SWAC champion, Bama St. messes around and almost loses to last year’s SWAC bottom dweller, Jackson St.  But I’m going with Grambling over Miss Valley.
