Obama's Chess Game

by dmbattle on 01-30-2010 at 10:03 AM
On the "Daily Show" David Plouffe, the guy responsible for Barack Obama's brilliantly run presidential campaign, said "President Obama is playing chess while the rest of Washington is playing checkers." I'm beginning to think he was dead on in his assessment.

by dmbattle on 01-21-2010 at 08:56 AM
I had been unemployed for a looonnnnggg time, when I finally got a job that pays so little I'm embarrassed to say how much I make on this forum.
Now, even THAT low-paying job is cutting back my hours.
I have no idea how I'm going to make next month's rent.
I have a 10-year old son who's struggling in school.
I got aches and pains....EVERYWHERE.
Some guy hit my car and knocked the passenger-side blinker light off. Don't know how that's going to get fixed.
