September 28-30, 2006

Intro: Who know what to say about the CIAA these days. It reminds me of investing- you can only gauge so much by past performances, as no one, not even your mighty prognosticator can for see in to the future. Fayetteville State had been this year’s bust, and who woulda known (except for the insiders, but everyone is optimistic about their team) that those pesky Golden Bulls and feisty Vikings would be on the rise (sounds like Friday night sissy fight, doesn’t it.) What we are about to witness is a pro in action, as I bring to you, what you should be picking this week in full blown touchdown scoring, 3 yards rushing, -2 passing yards full blown CIAA action (Hey it could happen on any given Saturday). using buy and sell of each teams stock (If I get them all right in my football picks, u were properly informed; if I get one wrong, just ignore my statement)

BUY or SELL

Game of the Week: North Carolina Central @ Bowie State-What was supposed to be the game of the year has turned into…well just a game. Bowie has lost their starting QB and RB, and lost to Dead…I ment Livingstone. NCCU is on a high, and anyone who bought this stock a long time ago are experiencing record gains. Bowie..uhhh get rid of it and cut your losses. NCCU by 14

ECSU @ St. Aug - In the Vikings vs. Falcon’s match up, another team is on the rise, while another is struggling to take flight. ECSU…BUY BUY BUY…St.Aug’s? (In Ms Cleo’s voice)..call me now for you frrrrreeee reading..next year. ECSU showcasing the conference’s top scoring offense by 21.

JCSU @ St. Paul-This game, featuring 2 teams riding high in their respective divisions are scrappy teams. JCSU is looking to keep pace with NCCU, and the same with St. Paul’s and ECSU. St. Paul’s stockholders (all who probably live within 10 miles of Lawrenceville and each own their own forest for a backyard)…Hol’ on to that der stock a liiiitle longer, not time fer that shiny red panic button jus yet. For JCSU…you might see them sportin shirts around campus with the phrase “We Believe”. JC by 14

Fayetteville State @Virginia State- Looking for some downtrodden stock to pick up on? Look no further than to Fayetteville State. I think they may gel at the right time, but for anyone holding on, you are running on the ragged edge of disaster. But, this is the CIAA, where anything can happen (cue the burger king commercial…have it your way, have it your way). VSU…this is a down year for them, even though its their homecoming. Look for FSU to begin the revival this week and sneak the BK king and Pepsi machine on the field for some trick plays. FSU by 10 (Side note: Invest heavily in Va State Woo Woo cheerleader stock)

Shaw @ Livingstone – Don’t buy any Livingstone stock. That was a one hit wonder, and don’t expect too much more (Hearing Boos from the Livingstone crowd at ESPN College Gameday in Salisbury) Shaw by 17

Va Union @ Central State- Union if you want to have something stable and don’t expect much in return. But I’ll take the for my CIAA portfolio this week. VUU by 7
