Recap: Some things just never fall in place. Morgan eventually pulled out the victory
against Bowie, and that hurt my feelings. But I'm still not gonna apologize about what I said. Why you ask? Cause you aren’t writing these, I am. Ha! Since I’m rushing out of work,
here’re my predictions:
Game of the Week: NCCU @ Southern - By far, this game is huge, especially if the Eagles can pull it off. Southern lost to lowly PV A&M, and are playing at home. They should be fired up, but look for a resurgent NCCU running attack to be the difference in a hostile running game. NCCU by 7
ECSU @ Newberry: In one of the final Non-Conference games of the year, the mighty Vikings are going to Newberry, another CIAA vs. SAC contest. This outcome is going to be routine
for most any other SAC games- Blowout or close, look for Newberry to come out winning. ECSU will go back not so mighty by the sea. Newberry by 21
St Aug @ Mars Hill: Don’t expect the upset of last year. South Atlantic moves to 2-0 on the day with another win over another weak foe. MHC by 28
Carson-Newman @ Va. State: Notice my order of SAC/CIAA matchups. The beatdowns simply get worse. SAC is 3-0 for this week, C-N takes home the CIAA crown with a 35 point advantage and undefeated out-of-conference record.
JCSU@ VUU: Work it JC. Enough said. Golden Bulls by 10
Bowie State @ Livingstone: The blue bears edge closer to an undefeated season. Bowie isn’t happy either after that loss (yea, I’m still a little bitter about it myself) BSU by 40
Shaw @ Maine: Yea, my eyes popped open when I saw that one. Boy, this is gonna be a beat down as if Shaw tried to steal something. Who scheduled this game? Maine? Wow, you would think Shaw was moving up to Division I. Maine? MAINE? Even Hampton would have a hard time overcoming this one. Maine by 50+.
