Alabama State vs. Alcorn @ Lorman MS.
Both teams are struggling coming out of the gate in their perspective division. Look for this to be a hard-fought battle between two proud teams with the Braves having an edge.

Jackson State vs. Mississippi Valley State @ Veterans Memorial Stadium
With what seems to be an improved JSU, this game should also be very interesting. Last week the Delta Devils made a statement by beating the defending eastern conference champs in overtime and is sure to bring that momentum along with them.

Prairie View A&M vs. Langston @ Blackshear Stadium
After coming off of the largest win of their life, look for the panthers to continue the streak but not in impressive fashion: leaving fans to face the reality that they are still PV.

University of Arkansas @ Pine Bluff vs. Southern Illinois@ Pine Bluff, AR.
Look for the Lions to come out clawing - showing their fans they aren’t afraid to take it to the so-called big dawgs. Look for SI to have a fight on their hands and if they let the Lions hang, around it may not be nice.

Texas Southern vs. Alabama A&M @ Houston, TX.
Another very interesting game in the SWAC. With the bulldogs still reeling from their loss to the Delta Devils, look for the Tigers to try and show that they are back in their usual form in starting fast and fizzling out at the end. Look for a Texas sweep

Grambling State Tigers vs. ODU @ Grambling, LA.
Look for the Tigers to stop their downward spiraling by defeating everybody’s cupcake.

Southern University vs. North Carolina Central @ Mumford Stadium
Coming off their first loss to Prairie View A&M in twenty-one years, look for the Jaguars to come out slinging. This couldn’t be a worse time for the Eagles to meet the Nation. With Pete knowing that he lost the game by poor coaching and clock management and with all the loons saying that the Jaguars are done, look for a rout.
